Rotterdam School of Management is one of the top B-schools for MIM. RSM offers multiple Masters programs such as Master in Management, International Management / CEMS, and specialised programmes in Marketing Management, Strategic Management and Human Resource Management. Essays

The short essays aim to understand your motivation and ambition for the specific program. Each has a strict 1200 character limit, including spaces, so stick to it. High quality essays can make or break the application. The questions look like:

1. What demonstrates your sincere interest in the programme you are applying for?
2. How do you expect the programme to contribute to your future plans?
3. Why should we select you to participate in the programme?
4. What other relevant information do you want to share to motivate your application?

The two very short essays (300 characters each) are optional, but it is always advisable to answer them for another chance to express yourself: the main reason you chose RSM, and how RSM could improve its application process.

Interview process

There is no interview for RSM's Masters in Management program. For those of you who dread interviews, that is good news, and it means your CV, essays and scores weigh a lot more.

Scholarships

All applicants have a fair chance at an RSM scholarship; you may have to provide an additional scholarship essay in your application. There is also the Orange Tulip Scholarship, which grants scholarships to Indian students studying in the Netherlands. If you have a GMAT score above 700, you have a strong chance at a partial scholarship through OTS, so definitely apply: the process is simply sending the required documents by mail before their deadline.
